Chrome Microphone Test

How to Allow Microphone in Google Chrome:

  1. 1Click the "Tune" (or Padlock) icon immediately to the left of the website URL.
  2. 2Look for the "Microphone" entry under Site permissions.
  3. 3Change the dropdown from "Block" to "Allow" (or toggle the switch ON).
  4. 4Click the blue "Reload" button that appears at the top of the browser.

Resetting Blocked Permission Settings:

  • If permanently blocked, paste this into your address bar: chrome://settings/content/microphone
  • Under "Allowed to use your microphone", ensure https://microphonetest.in is listed.
  • Delete the website from "Not allowed to use your microphone" if present.
Operating System Security Check:Windows 11/10: Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone > Ensure "Let desktop apps access your microphone" is turned On.
